Teikametrics MCP: Connecting Claude

The Teikametrics MCP isn't in Anthropic's pre-verified connector directory yet, so it's added as a custom connector — you point Claude at our remote MCP server URL yourself. This is a quick, fully self-serve setup.

Setup steps

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors (claude.ai) or Customize → Connectors (Claude Desktop/mobile).

  2. Click Add, then select Add custom connector.

  3. Paste in the remote MCP server URL:

    https://public-rest.api.teikametrics.com/stream/mcp

  4. Click Add to finish connecting.

  5. Toggle it on for the specific conversation or project where you want Claude to use it — connectors are enabled per-chat, not globally.

If you're on a Team or Enterprise plan

An organization Owner typically has to add the connector first, at Organization Settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, before individual members can connect to it themselves. If you try to add it individually and don't see the option, check with your Owner first.

What to expect once connected

  • Access is scoped to your login. Claude can only see the accounts/advertisers your own Teikametrics login has permission for — nothing more.

  • Tools load automatically. At the start of a conversation, Claude does a quick, invisible step to load the Teikametrics tool definitions before it can use them. You won't notice this happening.

  • It's read-only. The connector pulls data; it doesn't touch your live campaigns, so there's nothing to worry about while you explore.

Recommended setup

  • Use a paid Claude plan. It keeps your data out of any model training set and gives you the token headroom for longer analysis sessions.

  • Opt out of training in your account settings — a good habit for any proprietary business data.

  • Use a Project to store your team's common instructions (like your COGS definition or brand guidelines) so every conversation benefits automatically and your whole team stays consistent.

  • Start with Sonnet. It's fast, cost-effective, and handles most MCP queries well. Move to Opus only if you're seeing quality issues.

Try it

Once connected, ask something like:

"Show me my top 10 campaigns based on ad sales in the last 30 days"
