  • Confidently choose products, targeting, budgets, and creatives in one guided flow

This experience is designed for advertisers who want speed, clarity, and control when running Display ads with Walmart Connect.

Goal-Based Campaign Creation

Create Display campaigns based on your marketing objective:

  • Awareness – maximize reach and visibility

  • Consideration – drive engagement and discovery

  • Purchase – encourage conversions

  • Loyalty – engage with previous buyers

Teikametrics automatically maps your goals to the correct Walmart campaign objectives and structures.

Note: Video campaigns currently support Awareness goals only.

Step1: Product Selection (Featured Items)

Choose products from your Walmart catalog or reuse an existing item set.

These products:

  • Define what your campaign is measured against

  • Help guide keyword suggestions (for Keyword targeting)

  • Enable creative matching

  • Ensure accurate performance reporting

While selecting products, you can view:

  • Inventory levels

  • Sales performance

  • Advertised vs. non-advertised status

You can use the same product selection across multiple campaigns to save time.

Step2: Smart Campaign Setup

For each campaign, you can configure:

  • Campaign name

  • Budget (daily or total)

  • Start and end dates

  • Delivery speed (Even or Front-loaded)

  • Targeting tactics

Teikametrics automatically creates ad groups per campaign, so you don’t have to start from scratch.

Step3: Flexible Targeting Options

Each ad group uses one targeting type, with multiple targets allowed per type.

Behavioral Targeting

Reach shoppers based on who they are or how they shop:

  • Brand audiences (recent buyers, lapsed buyers, propensity)

  • Category audiences (in-market, recent buyers)

  • Lifestyle & persona audiences

  • Demographics

  • Your own custom audiences created with Teikametrics

Audience size estimates help you understand potential reach before launching campaigns.

Keyword Targeting (Banner only)

Target shoppers based on search intent using:

  • Recommended keywords powered by Teikametrics' ARI Ads

  • Manual keyword entry

  • Exact or broad match types

  • Negative keywords to filter irrelevant traffic

This helps extend high-performing search terms into Display.

Contextual Targeting

Place ads alongside relevant Walmart product categories.

  • Search and select from all Walmart product categories

  • Apply reach expansion where available

  • Build discovery-focused campaigns beyond your own catalog

Step4: Ad Group Controls

Each ad group can be customized with:

  • Location targeting (nationwide or specific regions)

  • Frequency caps to control exposure

  • CPM bidding (base and optional max bid)

  • Optional landing page URLs

You can also clone ad groups to quickly add variations to each campaign.

Step5: Creative Association (Banner & Video)

Attach approved creatives from your Walmart Creative Hub:

  • Search and filter across your creative library

  • Add up to 5 creatives per ad group

  • Automatically match creatives to featured products when possible

Bulk Creative Management

At the top of Campaign Setup, you can:

  • Apply creatives across multiple campaigns at once

  • Adjust creatives globally or at the individual ad-group level

  • Make changes without overwriting previous selections

Nothing is removed unless you explicitly change it.
